Know your costs
before you quote.

JobWorth brings together the real costs of doing a job — labour, travel, vehicles, materials, machinery and more — so you can see what the job will cost and make a better-informed decision about what to charge.

Easy to set up. Easy to use. JobWorth does the maths.

A standout JobWorth capability

Supplier prices change. JobWorth helps you keep up.

JobWorth can identify relevant supplier and product price changes from an invoice and present them clearly for your review.

  1. 1Take a photo or upload an invoice
  2. 2Review detected changes
  3. 3Confirm
  4. 4Done

You stay in control. JobWorth does not silently alter confirmed business costs. You review and confirm detected information first. Where appropriate, relevant inbound supplier freight or delivery can also contribute to the true landed material cost.

The real question

A busy business isn’t necessarily a profitable one.

Many small-business operators know what they normally charge. That doesn’t necessarily mean they know what each job really costs.

Labour takes time. Vehicles and machinery cost money to run. Fuel, materials and supplier prices change. Travel and smaller job costs add up.

So what is the job actually worth? That’s the question JobWorth is built to help answer.

Small quoting gaps add up

A small miss can become a big number.

JobWorth helps you see the costs before the quote goes out—so your pricing decision is based on the job you’re actually taking on.

Illustrative exampleA $5,000 job underquoted by 10% is $500.Do that twice a month and that’s $12,000 over a year. This is a simple mathematical example, not a guarantee of additional profit or savings.

The JobWorth principle

JobWorth does the maths.
You make the decision.

JobWorth isn’t designed to tell you how to run your business. It’s designed to put the numbers in front of you before you commit to a quote — so you can make the decision with better information.

Help when you need it

Practical answers, in context.

Help is built into JobWorth as well as available here. Tap Help inside the app for a plain-English explanation relevant to the screen you’re using.

How long does it take to set up JobWorth?

JobWorth is designed for quick, guided setup. You add the information relevant to your business and can skip what doesn’t apply. The exact time depends on your business and how much detail you choose to add.

Do I need to understand job costing?

No. JobWorth does the costing maths for you. You provide the information you know about your business and JobWorth helps bring the relevant costs together before you quote.

How do I update a material price?

Prices can be updated manually. You can also use a supplier invoice to identify possible changes, then review and confirm them before anything is updated.

How does vehicle costing work?

JobWorth can account for running costs such as fuel, tyres and servicing, plus standing costs such as registration and insurance, so vehicle costs can be included in a job.

What does landed cost mean?

Landed cost is what a material really costs your business after relevant supplier freight or delivery is included, not simply the price printed beside the product.

Can I change the final quote?

Yes. JobWorth gives you costing information and a recommendation, but you remain responsible for the final customer price.

About JobWorth

Busy doesn’t always mean profitable.

A business can have plenty of work while individual jobs still fail to properly account for labour, travel, vehicles, materials, fuel, machinery and other costs.

JobWorth was created to make that calculation practical before the quote goes out—without requiring the operator to become an accountant or build complicated spreadsheets.

JobWorth is developed by Buzz Business Boosters, an Australian business focused on practical technology and AI-enabled tools for small businesses.
