Start by choosing the type of business you run. JobWorth then suggests the setup areas likely to matter, so you can review what applies and skip what doesn’t.

Add or confirm your labour, vehicles, travel, products, materials, machinery and pricing preferences. Use only the areas relevant to the way your business works.
How long does it take to get started?
JobWorth is designed to get you quoting without a complicated setup process. Guided Setup takes you through the information relevant to your business in plain English, and you can skip things that don’t apply. Setup time will vary depending on your business and how much detail you choose to add.
Do I need to understand job costing?
No. JobWorth is designed to do the costing maths for you. You provide the information you know about your business, and JobWorth helps bring it together before you quote.
Creating a quote
Enter the details of the job and choose the relevant labour, travel, vehicles, materials, machinery and other costs. JobWorth brings those costs together for review before you set the customer price.
Costs and price updates
Updating material or product prices
You can update prices manually in your business setup. Keeping these amounts current helps future quotes use more useful costing information.
Using a supplier invoice
Take a photo or upload an invoice and JobWorth can identify relevant supplier or product price changes. Review the detected information and confirm only the changes you want to apply.
Vehicle and fuel costs
JobWorth can include running costs such as fuel, tyres and servicing, plus standing costs such as registration and insurance. Review the figures so they reflect your vehicle and how you use it.
Machinery and equipment costs
Add the machinery or equipment relevant to your work so its cost can be considered on jobs where it is used.

Estimated true cost brings together the costs JobWorth knows apply to the job, based on the information you have provided or confirmed.
Minimum vs recommended quote
The minimum price and recommended quote give you two useful reference points. Review the breakdown and choose the final customer price yourself.
Changing margins
Review your pricing preferences in your business setup. Changes affect the recommendations JobWorth provides, so make sure they suit your business.
Sharing a customer quote
If a sharing option is available in the version you’re testing, review the customer details, job description and final price before sending. Sharing capability may change during beta.
